Sunday Roast – London

Okay, so here is the thing. I am not a huge fan of Sunday Roasts and this is mainly due to me believing that there is a bigger hype around it as it should be. Some of the roast I have tried, were not the best to say the least…no flavours, questionable quality of the meat, boring side dishes…

But, then I went to Hack and Hop last weekend and my faith was restored a little bit. The place is hidden in a little street close to Blackfriars station and St. Paul’s Cathedral.

They have amazing selection of ales, beers and cider on tap and the food is absolutely perfect. They have a Sunday Roast Feast Special which is recommended for 3-4 people. There was 3 of us and we couldn’t finish it so the recommendation is accurate indeed. It is also a nice option to try all kinds of meat and sides. The Scotch Egg was my personal favourite thing on the plate.

To be honest, I was so overwhelmed with the food and my surprise of the quality that I didn’t even remember to take a picture and I am really sorry. But, go and check out their Tripadvisor page and be amazed.

The inside of the pub is cute and colourful and the one staff member/owner/manager who was working on the day was helpful and nice as well.
