Brighton is a foodie heaven and it is considered to be very vegetarian/vegan friendly. One of the most popular places is Food for Friends, which can be found on the Lanes.
Food for Friends is Brighton’s original award-winning vegetarian and vegan restaurant, featured in ‘The Sunday Times’ Top Vegetarian and Vegan Restaurants and in ‘The Good Food Guide 2018’. They use fresh & consciously sourced products and offer Breakfast, Brunch and A La Carte options. (x)
We popped in on a busy weekend and had the most delicious lunch. The service was quick and kind, and the food was exceptional. I tried the Vegan Laksa which is inspired by the street food in South East Asia and it’s a spicy and zesty coconut broth, served with glass noodles. I swear, I could eat it every day, so fantastic.
I also had some vegan king oyster scallops as a starter and honestly this picture is great but can’t do enough justice on how much I loved this dish.
They also serve some nice selection of organic wines, which I had to try and I was not disappointed. Perfect just like all the things we ordered.
If you wish to go out in Brighton and eat something special, this is your place.
