The Curious Tavern can be found in the city centre and it’s situated in Nottingham’s oldest hotel, constructed in 1822, and formerly known as ‘The George Hotel’. The Curious Tavern is part of an establishment steeped in history.

Once one of Nottingham’s premiere hotels, the building has seen many famous guests stay within the walls including Lord Byron, Charles Dickens, Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton.

This is one of those pubs that’s going to look very pretty on your Instagram feed. The interior design is really cool. The staff is very nice and helpful, and the selection of alcoholic beverages is great. Also, I didn’t try the food but if its taste as amazing it looks, you are in for a treat.

I definitely recommend to pop in when visiting Nottingham.
