This hostel was such a relief after the first shock of the B&B Guest-house. The first thing you’ll notice when entering the place that it is tiny and cute. Reception is basically just a little desk in the living room area. It’s all very bright, colourful and tidy. The staff is very nice and approachable. Sobo Guest House, Brighton & Hove

I’ve stayed at this place for two nights and hopefully I will never stay here again. This place is on the cheap side of the hostels but there are certainly many reasons to that. First, it is in Hove, not Brighton and is far from the centre. Second, it stinks. You heard me. Upon entering the hostel, the only thing you will smell, is this disgusting odour…and when you look around you realise that everything is dirty, old and it’s just not inviting at all.
